After almost two hours of live talks, it was agreed that the individual panels of the 29th EuroPOWER Energy Conference would not focus on specific technologies, but would respond to specific problems crucial for the sector. With such an approach to the spring edition of the event, by answering the challenge of Polish energy, speakers will try and answer questions such as: what’s next with increasing energy prices? How to improve air quality? How can renewable energy sources supplement the energy system? How to fill the lignite gap? How can transport and heating help the energy industry? Above all else, the country’s energy and climate strategy will be discussed, as well as the role of consumers, financing energy transformation and new business models used in the sector.
The Secretary of State in the Ministry of the Environment, the Plenipotentiary for the Presidency of the OCP 24 and Michał Kurtyka also took the floor, referring to the inaugural panel. The minister indicated three important issues that cannot be missing during the EuroPOWER Energy Conference: the role of man and his expectations, technologies and regulations. These are topics that emerged during the Climate Summit in Katowice and can not be missed during the congress.
All this and many more important topics will be included in the agenda of the 29th EuroPOWER Energy Conference, which will shortly be presented in full.
