Leaders of the Energy World Competition

The competition is a recurring event held during the spring editions of the conference. The Gala Ceremony, where the Laureates of the 2024 competition will be announced, will take place on April 3, 2025 (time TBD) at The Westin Warsaw Hotel.

“The “Energy World Leaders” competition is a unique event designed to honor and recognize outstanding achievements, innovations, and commitments in the energy sector. This prestigious award gathers top leaders and innovators who contribute to the development of clean and sustainable energy while celebrating social engagement and global responsibility in the energy industry.

Our main goal is to reward and promote individuals who make an exceptional contribution to transforming the energy landscape. We aim to distinguish individuals and organizations that are pioneers in the fields of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, digitization, and technological innovations in the energy sector.

Competition submissions are free of charge and will be accepted until February 21, 2025.

Competition Categories:

Manager of the Year

Category dedicated to the best managers, CEOs, and innovators in the market who lead energy companies and businesses in the energy sector.

Renewable Energy Leader*

An award for companies introducing new solutions in renewable energy: photovoltaics, wind energy (offshore and onshore), biogas, hydrogen, geothermal, etc. Open to all companies in the renewable energy sector, including developers, investors, subcontractors, technology firms, clusters, cooperatives, and renewable energy producers.

Energy Efficiency Leader in the Economy*

A distinction for companies that significantly contribute to increasing energy efficiency in industry, construction, transportation, or services. Recognizing investment successes in industrial process optimization aimed at energy efficiency. Entities supporting “responsible energy consumption.” This category includes industrial, transportation, and construction companies, especially those in energy-intensive sectors, as well as service providers.

Energy Sector Solutions Provider

A category dedicated to IT companies that have implemented innovative solutions for the energy sector and/or closely collaborate to develop technologies in the industry.

Energy Innovation of the Year*

An award for products, solutions, services, or specific implementations in energy companies based on modern technologies. We recognize products or IT solutions created for the energy sector.

Energy Transformation Leader*

The award honors energy companies and companies in the business environment that have demonstrated an exceptional ability to lead and accelerate the energy transformation process. The award recognizes achievements in adapting to the changing energy landscape. It promotes sustainable practices and investment in technologies and innovations that are changing the way energy is produced and distributed. Category for energy companies (electricity, gas, fuel, heating, etc.) and companies in their business environment.

Start-ups for the Energy of the Future*

A category aimed at innovative companies operating in the broader energy sector. For entities developing innovative technologies, products and services that support the transformation of the energy sector towards sustainability, efficiency and security, redefining the future of energy.

Young Generation Leader in Energy

The award honors young talents and leaders who demonstrate passion, commitment and exceptional contributions to developing a sustainable energy future. A category for young leaders, scientists, environmentalists, activists, NGO representatives or influencers bringing new energy to transform the industry and working to transform Poland’s energy future.

Leader of the Energy World

Award for politicians, visionaries, great figures in the energy industry. The award honors both professional achievements and involvement in the development of the sector and influence in shaping its future, as well as the creation of sustainable energy solutions and innovation in the sector. Honorary Chapter Award.

This award is not among the categories for nomination from the market.
