Leaders of the Energy World Competition

The Competition is a cyclical event that takes place during the spring editions of the conference. The gala at which the Competition Winners for 2024 will be selected will take place on 3 April 2025 in Warsaw.

The “Leaders of the Energy World” competition is a unique event that aims to honor and recognize outstanding achievements, innovation and commitment in the energy sector. It is a prestigious award that brings together top leaders and innovators who contribute to the development of clean and sustainable energy.

Our main goal is to reward and promote those individuals who are making exceptional contributions to transforming the energy landscape. We want to recognize individuals and organizations that are pioneers in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, digitization and technological innovation in the energy sector.

Entries for the Competition will be accepted until 21 February 2025.

Competition Categories:

Manager of the Year

Category addressed to the best managers, CEOs and innovators in the market who manage energy companies and companies in the business environment.

Renewable Energy Leader*

Award for companies that introduce new solutions in the field of renewable energy: photovoltaics, wind power (offshore and onshore), biogas, hydrogen, geothermal, etc. For all RES companies: developers, investors, subcontractors, technology companies, clusters, cooperatives, RES energy producers.

Leader of Energy Efficiency in the Economy*

An award for companies that significantly contribute to energy efficiency in industry, construction, transportation or services. Investment successes in the area of optimization of industrial processes striving for energy efficiency. Entities supporting “responsible energy efficiency.”
Category for industrial, transportation, construction companies, especially those that are part of the high energy consumption sector (energy-intensive industry) and services.

Solution Provider for the Energy Sector

Category for IT companies that have implemented innovative solutions for the energy sector and/or work closely together to develop technologies in the industry.

Innovation of the Year in the Energy Sector*

Award for products, solutions, services or a specific implementation in energy companies based on modern technologies. The award recognizes a product or IT solution developed for the energy industry.

Energy Transformation Leader*

The award honors energy companies and companies in the business environment that have demonstrated an exceptional ability to lead and accelerate the energy transformation process. The award recognizes achievements in adapting to the changing energy landscape. It promotes sustainable practices and investment in technologies and innovations that are changing the way energy is produced and distributed. Category for energy companies (electricity, gas, fuel, heating, etc.) and companies in their business environment.

Start-ups for the Energy of the Future*

A category aimed at innovative companies operating in the broader energy sector. For entities developing innovative technologies, products and services that support the transformation of the energy sector towards sustainability, efficiency and security, redefining the future of energy.

Young Generation Leader in Energy

The award honors young talents and leaders who demonstrate passion, commitment and exceptional contributions to developing a sustainable energy future. A category for young leaders, scientists, environmentalists, activists, NGO representatives or influencers bringing new energy to transform the industry and working to transform Poland’s energy future.

Leader of the Energy World

Award for politicians, visionaries, great figures in the energy industry. The award honors both professional achievements and involvement in the development of the sector and influence in shaping its future, as well as the creation of sustainable energy solutions and innovation in the sector. Honorary Chapter Award.

This award is not among the categories for nomination from the market.
