Unleash innovation
There are many challenges ahead of Polish energy. On one hand, discussions on the draft of the energy market act and planned supply auctions for the coming years. On the other hand, a constant mystery – how to implement innovations in the energy industry? Poland has difficulty in implementing innovation, so it is worth discussing and publicizing the topic. What is needed is a debate that treats innovation in the context of global trends. – The EuroPOWER conference is one of those conferences at which we review what is happening in the energy world in Poland, and therefore it is worth participating in it – says Roman Szwed, President of the Board, Atende S.A. This is where a group of the most important experts from the industry meet, who, on the example of specific implementations implemented in leading companies, will show how to change the face of the Polish power industry. There will be fact-based discussions illustrating the real processes that take place in the European Union. On the basis of Eurostat statistics, an illustration of the flow of goods and energy will be carried out, as an example of the real processes that are happening in the world. An interesting diversion will be the presentation of case studies by the largest energy concerns, talking about pilot projects carried out by them.
The future of energy
During the XXVIII EuroPOWER Energy Conference there will be no lack of active discussions and important topics. Discussion panels will be prepared in such a way that they will present different views, because only then can one have a full idea of the whole situation and come to conclusions. There’ll be debates about using cogeneration, the pros and cons of energy mix and the future of nuclear energy. Speakers will decide why we should develop unconventional methods of gaining energy. Nuclear energy is 100% modern technology. It should be considered which direction this initiative is going. Is the building of nuclear reactors possible from the economist’s point of view? How can such an investment be financed? There’s no way to commercially realize such a project, so support and tools are needed which will bring this goal closer. The energy politics of the European Union are changing faster and faster, and our economy must keep up with them. Talks are needed – not only what is here and now, but also about what the plans for the future are. Leaders of the energy world, including representatives of the highest offices and the Ministry of Energy in Poland, discuss the biggest changes which will affect Polish energy in the upcoming years during the EuroPOWER Conference – says Dawid Klimczak, President of the Board, ENEA Trading.
